Event Planned // Jenna & Joakim // L’Avenir Estate, Stellenbosch

When a life of jet-setting and adventure brings two business tycoons to a social club for a bit of down-time and socialisation you can bet some interesting stories can arise. This one does not disappoint as these two seemingly different people, with seemingly different backgrounds, who come from two totally different countries, collide to begin their seven-year ying-yang relationship.

Dear Jenna & Joakim,
Planning your wedding over the last six months has taught us so much about you as a couple – and what many couples should resort to work to achieving. Your hectic business positions have left you with little to no me-time, yet every single one of those breathing glimpses you choose to spend with each other and make the most of the (little) time.

You fly over to another country for a single-nights visit as if it’s a skip down the road, stay away late into the night just to have that last good-night conversation and wake up early for the first good-morning and to set the day right, before taking on the next challenge.

Your travels have allowed you to see countless countries and lead numerous adventures yet its South Africa where you decided to tie-the-knot and escalate your relationship to the next level.

Your intimate celebration left no detail over, or under, thought-out and your care to include and be sensitive towards everyone attending was remarkable. It’s your special day yet you were more concerned about everyone attending have a memorable time.

Four days of celebration allowed those attending to see and experience some of South Africa’s most icon jewels. From the sunset dinners at Tokara, tours along Camp’s Bay, to pre-wedding celebrations at Cavalli – holiday guests would have needed a holiday to relax after their holiday!

Not even the stormy weather and threatening skies put a damper on your wish to hold onto happiness – the clouds left you with that silver lining to prove to the world that you were that light at the end of the tunnel.
The classical white and gold theme suited you and your timeless beauty perfectly Jenna. Joakim you are a lucky man.
Our wish for you is a life that continues to grow from one adventure to the next – may you never tire of those stolen moments and continue to find the calm in each other amidst your hecticness.

With so much love,
